Flat £3.95 delivery charge
We've simplified - and  in many cases lowered - our delivery charges:  all standard UK deliveries are now charged at £3.95, irrespective of which products and how many you order!

5 Aug 10 (updated 1 Sept 10):
Summer deliveries
All back to normal now!  :-)    Please note that during August our deliveries are taking slightly longer than usual, due to summer holidays.  We aim to dispatch products within a week of ordering, which means that they will typically reach you in approximately ten days.

Summer nights
Looks like summer is here - wahey!  :-)  But just because the nights are short, doesn't mean you don't need lights.  We have loads of romantic string lights which will go well in the veranda, the summer cottage, or just to add a bit of sparkle to the long twilight hours.  We also have excellent portable reading lights and night lights for camping, boating and in fact any sort of holidaying.

8,000 lights sold, and counting...
Just the other day we were wondering how many lights we've sold over the past four years, and after shuffling some paperwork and the abacus, we found the answer:  as near as makes no difference to 8,000!  Or as we prefer to think, eight thousand very happy children somewhere out there!  :-)

Yes, it's true that we're mainly about great children's lights.  But it's equally true that many of our string lights are drop-dead-gorgeous and sure to be appreciated by anyone.  So if you're still looking for that special Mother's Day present, look no further!

Spring is almost here (just don't look out the window)
As everyone knows, spring is the busiest time of year in the 'baby business' - and not just for the birds and the bunnies! - and chances are that someone you know is one of the season's new expectant mummies.  If you're looking for a gift with a difference, get one or two of our lights, and immediately you're guaranteed to be the favourite friend/uncle/auntie/godfather/whatever of the new baby, not to mention the baby's parents.
